The narrative is written by Claude using your real data — not a template. It summarises what changed, what was recovered, and what to watch next month. Each report is unique to the period.

AI Efficiency Score explained
A 0–100 score measuring how efficiently your team converts AI spend into business value. It appears in every report and in the Executive View header.

|---|---|---|
| 80–100 | Excellent | Waste rate is low, cache hit rate is high, cost per outcome is trending down. |
| 60–79 | Room to improve | Some waste categories are active. Check recommendations for quick wins. |
| Below 60 | Significant waste present | Multiple waste categories are active with material impact. Prioritise the top recommendation. |
Calculated from: waste rate (40%), cache hit rate (30%), cost-per-outcome trend (30%). Scores are relative to your own baseline, not benchmarked against other companies.
Narrative tone
Customize how the AI-written narrative section is framed. Three tones are available:

Set your tone in the Narrative tone selector when generating a report. The charts, tables, and metrics are identical across all tones — only the narrative paragraph changes.
Scheduled delivery
Reports can be auto-generated and emailed to your finance team on a recurring cadence (Growth plan). Configure in Reports → Scheduled Delivery tab.
The scheduled report runs on the 1st of each month and covers the prior calendar month. Recipients receive a PDF attachment — no Cognocient login required.
