Our commitment
We want you to be confident in your decision to use Cognocient. Every plan starts with a 10-day free trial with full access and no credit card required. This gives you time to evaluate the platform thoroughly before any payment is made.
10-day free trial
All new accounts receive a 10-day free trial with access to all features including the Business tier. No credit card is required to start. If the product is not right for you, simply do not subscribe — you will never be charged.
Subscription cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard (Settings → Billing → Manage subscription, which opens the Paddle billing portal) or by emailing hello@cognocient.com.
When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
- Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you decide to resubscribe.
- After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted upon request.
Refund policy
Because we offer a 10-day free trial with no credit card required, refunds are not offered for subscription payments made after the trial period. You have full access to evaluate every feature before any payment is processed.
We will issue refunds in these specific situations:
Billing error
You were charged an incorrect amount or charged after successfully cancelling your subscription. We will refund the incorrect charge in full.
Duplicate charge
If you were charged twice for the same billing period, the duplicate charge will be refunded immediately.
For any other billing concerns, please contact us. We review each situation individually.
How to request a refund
Email hello@cognocient.com with:
- Your account email address
- The charge date and amount
- A brief description of the issue
We respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
How refunds are processed
Cognocient uses Paddle as our payment processor and Merchant of Record. All refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to your original payment method. Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Plan changes
Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. You retain access to your current plan's features until then.
Subscription plans
All plans include a 10-day free trial. No annual contracts required.
